Kawi, the lead visual designer for Maker Faire Shenzhen, has been designing for MFSZ for 13 consecutive years! (Yes, since 2012!) While MFSZ’s designs have always received praise from many partners, few know that Kawi is also a master of hand-drawn art! After this year’s event, he sketched a scene from the venue, which was even reposted on Maker Magazine’s official website!
Kawi shared that as a beginner maker himself, he gets energized by the high-octane creativity at Maker Faire every year. Having been involved in the event’s planning and design, he feels a deep connection to it. Creating this illustration was both a way to capture the highlights of Maker Faire Shenzhen 2025 and to draw a perfect closing circle for this year’s event.
