Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui Primary School (Branch) is a primary school in Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong, with a mission to ignite students’ potential through STEAM education. The school has a history of leading students to international events, including Maker Faires in Singapore, Taiwan, and Korea, as well as the Bett Show in the UK. After a few years of limited overseas trips, they are excited to return to the global stage at Maker Faire Shenzhen 2025.
The school believes this exhibition will not only showcase the students’ work but also offer a valuable opportunity to broaden their horizons, improve communication skills, and boost their confidence by connecting with makers from around the world.
Project Spotlight: “AI For Life”
The students are proud to present their project, “AI For Life,” a collection of groundbreaking creations that use artificial intelligence to solve everyday problems and promote a sustainable future. Their projects demonstrate the application of cutting-edge technologies like TinyML and AIGC, showing how young minds can use AI to make a real impact.
The projects include:
- AI Farm: Smart solutions for efficient and eco-friendly agriculture.
- AI Ocean Cleanup Vessel: An intelligent system designed to tackle ocean pollution.
- AI Baby Safety House: AI-powered innovations to ensure the well-being of the youngest members of society.
- AI Nutrition Cabinet: Smart technology that assists with healthy eating habits and food management.
Each project is a powerful example of how the students are actively working toward several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 14 (Life below Water), and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
